London Freeze Festival

So its getting to that time again, its September, the leafs start to drop from the trees the days get shorter and it starts to get colder as the month goes on. This symbolises the end of summer. It’s a sad time for most but, if you’re like me then you start to get pretty stoked because the ski season is just around the corner. For a UK skier /photographer the London Freeze is an event that you will find in my diary every year. This will be the fourth time the event would stage some of the best freeskiers and snowboards from all around the world, competition in a big air comp in the middle of London.

Last year’s finals was a head to head knockout with riders such as Paddy Graham, Oscar Harlaut PC Fosse, Bobby Brown and Russ Henshaw, but in the end we saw a Swedish takeover with Henrik Harlaut taking third Jon Olson second and Jacob Wester claiming first stomping a huge dub cork 12 on the last hit.

This event is sure to be a sick one with musicians such as The Streets, Everything Everything and The Joy Formidable as some early confirmed acts, keep your eyes on the freeze website for the latest news and offers.
